Bear Hug.

“Desperate for a way out of a long losing streak, collegiate wrestler Orson Brown finds himself on the receiving end of the American military’s last-ditch attempt to win the war in Vietnam. A volatile new science called trans-genesis—or the process of crossing one animal’s genes with another’s and enjoying the results…”

I created the original story for and co-wrote the graphic novel, Bear Hug—a brawling comic about pro-wrestling, bears and the Vietnam war. Aside from writing the novel, I also art directed the illustration, logo design, and character art, as well as managed creative teams across four different countries to see the project come to fruition.

Bear Hug is currently represented by Jonathan Rosen at the Seymour Agency and out on submission with several major publishers.
